Ray's Southern Auto Auction operates as a dealer car auction with two sales weekly - Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30pm. They run two lanes during the auction and are located just off I-85 in Greensboro.

It is possible to visit the auction lot in Greensboro, NC prior to the sale to inspect the auction cars, but all dealers must be registered on Edge Pipeline in order to bid during the Simulcast. The times to visit the lot are on Monday and Thursday from 9am to 6pm.

Ray's Auction includes cars from local dealers' new car trade-ins and also financial repos and charity cars.

Auto Auction Policies

• Payment must be made within one hour of purchase for all vehicles sold with a drive.
• Titles must be in the seller's name, and all information must be completed by the selling dealer.
• The auction is not responsible for warranty books or any vehicle identification plate that appears altered.
• Sales of police cars, taxi cabs, municipal cars, fire cars, flood cars, or vehicles sold "AS-IS" must be announced and paid for immediately.
• No one under 16 is allowed on the premises.
• A $55 fee applies for online sales, over and above the buyer's fee.
• All "LOT SALES" deals done inside the office will be "AS-IS."
