Contra Costa Public Auto Auction in Pittsburg, California sells up to 200+ quality used cars, trucks, sports utility vehicles, minivans, and RVs every other first Saturday of the month.

Smog certified vehicles obtained through banks, charity cars from non-profit organizations, city surplus vehicles, auto dealer consignors, credit union repos and leasing company fleets are available for public inspection the Friday before the auction with the auction held on Saturday.

Howdy, it's the Car Dealer King, and if you're looking to find a decent used car or truck in the Bay Area, this is the spot. They move over 200 used cars, trucks, SUVs – you name it – every other Saturday in Pittsburg, California.

What I like about this place is they get their inventory from all over: banks, charities, even city vehicles. You can check out the cars the Friday before the auction, which starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday.

NOTE: I have not personally tried this auction, but their reviews are generally positive and they run their public sales during the income tax months.
