When C.A.R. (Charitable Auto Recycling) opened Niederward Auto Auction back in 2001, right here in Austin, Texas, I was impressed by how they found a way to support smaller charities through vehicle donations. It’s incredible to think that since then, they’ve processed more than 75,500 donations, raising over $20 million for various causes. It feels great to see a local organization having such a far-reaching impact, helping charities both here in Austin and beyond.

I’ve been following their journey closely, and in 2005, I remember hearing about their expansion. They started working with larger national vehicle processing companies and even began selling used cars on consignment for individuals. What really stands out to me is how much they care about their customers—they go the extra mile to find the right buyer for every vehicle, which means better resale prices. It's no surprise that they’ve built such a strong base of loyal clients, from dealers to exporters to everyday folks like us.

One of my favorite things about Niederward is the selection at their Public Auto Auctions. If you’re hunting for a family van, a sleek sports car, or even a boat or motorcycle, they’ve got your back. The convenience of their website, with auctions every Saturday, makes it super easy to browse and bid.
